I live in the United States, in a small farm/ranch community in Northwestern Missouri but I grew up on the "mean streets" of St. Louis, Missouri. So I have been working on flexing my writing muscles. I used to do it a lot in high school and I want to get back into it for a creative outlet so I have been searching Tumblr for writing help blogs and I have started following a bunch of those.
By far my favorite blog I followed though is http://awesomewritingprompts.tumblr.com because as if the prompt theme names weren’t entertaining enough, the prompts are so funny/ridiculous that just reading them is worth the laughs like “How exactly am I supposed to write that?!”
Seriously, even if your not a writer/don’t want to follow they are worth reading a couple pages just for giggles.

NotesOk seriously, this man CAN NOT be real. Jensen Ackles has got to be the most incredible actor I have ever seen. What blows me away is that no matter what character he plays [Ben/Alec in Dark Angel or Jason Teague in Smallville or Dean Winchester in Supernatural to name a few] his character is perfectly believable, relatable, and most of all REAL. Fascinatingly, though you can certainly tell that it is him (Jensen), he doesn’t LOOK like his characters off screen. Even when he wears his characters clothes and make-up to do an on-set interview, you can tell that he is Jensen and not his character. He blows me away constantly with his depth. Incredible. I have officially run out of superlatives to describe this guy and do him justice. If I may make a bold prediction, he is going to be the Clint Eastwood of our generation. I hope he takes a couple years after Supernatural ends to direct, he needs to do that.
